How to measure your wall

Measure the width and height in several places, then record the widest and tallest measurements. Note your units and any sloped ceilings, alcoves or other obstacles.

Wall murals: use the size guide on your chosen product, allow the recommended trimming margin, then review the design crop before adding it to your cart.

Wallpaper rolls: check the listed roll width and available heights. Plan enough strips for the wall and allow for pattern matching; the design repeat can change the quantity required.

For several walls or an irregular space, send us a sketch, measurements and the product link before ordering.

Compare materials & finishes

The material changes both the feel of the surface and the installation method. Check the options available on your chosen design.

  • Non-Woven: a smooth, matte finish that requires wallpaper paste.
  • Peel & Stick: a self-adhesive material applied by removing the backing; no separate paste is needed.
  • Textured: a tactile, matte finish that requires paste and the supplied hanging instructions.

Wall condition and paint can affect adhesion. Compare a sample on your own wall and follow the instructions for the selected material.

Ask about your wall and material
Choose and compare samples

Open the design you like, select “Order a sample”, choose a material and review the sample size and price.

  • Look at the sample in daylight and with your evening lighting.
  • Hold it beside your paint, flooring, fabrics and furniture.
  • Compare the surface finish and test suitability on your intended wall according to the material instructions.

A sample shows color and finish; it may show only part of the artwork. Use the full product images to judge the overall pattern and composition.

Prepare for installation

Start with a clean, dry, smooth and sound surface. Repair imperfections and allow newly painted walls to cure according to the paint and wallpaper instructions.

  1. Check the material, design and all supplied panels before hanging.
  2. Lay panels out in order and plan the position of the pattern or mural.
  3. Use the tools and adhesive specified for your material.
  4. Follow the supplied hanging guide, working carefully around edges and obstacles.

If the wall is textured, damp or damaged, ask for advice before installation. Stop and contact us if you notice an issue with the print or panels.

Before you order

The questions worth asking.

Wallpaper or a wall mural?

Wallpaper usually builds a repeating pattern across the wall. A mural creates one larger composition, so the wall proportions and the position of furniture matter when reviewing the crop. Check the format and sizing options on the product page before choosing.

Will the color match my screen?

Screens and room lighting can change how a color appears. A physical sample is the best way to compare the print and finish beside your existing furnishings before ordering the full design.

Can I use it in a bathroom or kitchen?

Suitability depends on the material, wall preparation, ventilation and exposure to water or heat. A room photograph is styling inspiration, not confirmation that every material suits every location. Send us the product link and details of the intended wall so we can advise before you order.

Ask about room suitability
What should I check before checkout?

Review the selected material, sample or full-size option, units, dimensions, quantity and total price. For a mural, also check the preview and crop. Confirm your delivery address and read the shipping and returns policies, especially for made-to-measure orders.
