How do I customize a wall mural?
Open your chosen mural’s product page, select a material and enter your wall’s width and height in centimetres, inches or feet. Select Preview & buy to open the customizer. Review your dimensions, material, design preview and displayed total before adding the mural to your cart.
This workflow applies to murals with the customizer. Other wallpaper products may use size or quantity options; follow the Size guide and options on that product’s page.
Can I move or crop the image?
Yes. The mural preview fits the artwork to your selected proportions. When the image extends beyond the frame, drag it within the available area to adjust the crop. For a horizontally cropped image, you can move it left or right. The available movement depends on the artwork and your wall’s proportions. Check that the details you want to keep are inside the preview.
The customizer also offers Flip and Grayscale options. Stretch to fit adjusts the image proportions to reduce cropping, so review the result carefully. It may change the appearance of the artwork. A tall, narrow wall may not show the entire original composition.
What sizes are available for repeating-pattern wallpaper?
Our repeating-pattern wallpaper has a fixed panel width of 20 inches (50.8 cm). The height can be selected or requested to suit your wall. Choose the required height from the product options; if the height you need is not listed, contact us about a custom height before ordering. The width remains 20 inches: requesting a custom height does not change the panel width. This sizing guidance is for full-height pattern wallpaper panels, not samples or the custom-width mural workflow.
Share your full wall width and height, the measurement units, the design link and whether your measurements already include trimming allowance. We can help you choose the height and check the number of panels. We do not assume centimetres or inches from numbers alone, and we do not add an allowance twice.
How many 20-inch-wide pattern panels do I need?
For basic width coverage, divide the full wall width in inches by 20 and round up to a whole panel. If measuring in centimetres, divide by 50.8 and round up. For example, a 110-inch-wide wall needs at least 6 panels for width coverage, giving 120 inches in total. Check the chosen panel height, the design's pattern alignment and any product-specific trimming or installation allowance before ordering. A width calculation alone does not confirm the correct order height or all installation requirements. Do not deduct doors or windows from the wall width or from the coverage calculation.
Should I subtract doors or windows from my wallpaper measurements?
No. Measure the full wall width and full wall height without subtracting doors or windows. For repeating-pattern wallpaper, keeping the full wall layout preserves the pattern repeat and visual continuity above, below and beside openings. Order coverage for that full layout. During installation, align the pattern across the panels and trim away the wallpaper covering the door and window openings. Subtracting those areas before ordering can interrupt the pattern or leave you short of material.
If your wall has an unusual shape or several openings, share a wall photo or sketch, the full measurements and your chosen design so we can help check the layout before you order.
How do I measure a sloped or angled wall for pattern wallpaper?
For our 20-inch-wide (50.8 cm) repeating-pattern panels, do not rely on a single wall-height measurement. Mark the wall in consecutive 20-inch-wide sections from one starting edge, then measure the height again for every section, because the height can change along the slope.
Measure vertically from the same level baseline to the sloping edge at both sides of each panel section, and check any higher point within that section. Use the greatest height within that individual section to avoid a panel being too short; do not use an average or only the lower edge. Check the final partial-width section as well. Account for the required trimming allowance when choosing the order height, without adding it again if already included.
Number the sections from left to right and record each section's width and maximum height with the measurement units. Share this list and a photo or sketch with the selected design so we can help confirm the panel heights and pattern alignment before you order different-height panels. Keep the repeat aligned across adjacent panels during installation, then trim the excess to follow the slope. The fixed 20-inch width still applies; the required height may differ from one panel to the next.
This is the measuring method for repeating-pattern wallpaper panels. For a mural, share the full wall outline and dimensions so the artwork layout can be reviewed separately. Do not subtract door or window openings from the full layout.
Should I add extra for trimming?
The mural customizer recommends adding 5–10 cm (2–4 inches) to the total width and to the total height for installation flexibility. Add the allowance once to each dimension, not separately to every edge. If your measurements already include this allowance, do not add it again. Confirm your measurement units before ordering.
Which material should I choose?
Peel & Stick is self-adhesive and requires no paste. It is intended for clean, smooth surfaces. Non-Woven has a smooth matte finish; the mural option is PVC-free and uses paste-the-wall installation. Textured has a textured matte finish and requires wallpaper paste. Check the material information on your chosen product for its available options and installation instructions.
Wall surface and paint condition matter. For textured walls, newly painted surfaces, persistently damp surfaces or uncertain finishes, contact us before choosing a material. For ceiling and humid-room recommendations, see the specific guidance below. We cannot confirm compatibility without the relevant product and wall details.
Is Peel & Stick suitable for rental spaces?
It can be an option, depending on the wall surface and paint condition. Removal results vary, so damage-free or residue-free removal cannot be guaranteed. We recommend testing a sample in a small area and following the product’s installation instructions.
How do I order a wallpaper sample?
Yes, you can order a sample directly from your chosen design's product page. The sample controls differ between repeating-pattern wallpaper and custom-size murals. You do not need to enter your wall measurements for a sample. A sample helps you check colour and material finish in your room's lighting; it is not a full wallpaper roll or a full-size mural.
How do I order a sample of repeating-pattern wallpaper?
- Open the product page for the design you want and select your preferred material under Choose material.
- Below the main Add to cart area, select Try a sample first (with the description See the colour and feel the finish).
- The page switches to sample mode. Check that it shows Sample price and the selected material with Sample 20"W x 9"H. The roll-height selector is disabled in sample mode; you do not need to choose a full roll height.
- Check the quantity and select Add to cart.
- Open your cart, confirm that the line is the sample of the correct design and material, then select Check out.
Return to wallpaper roll switches back to full-roll ordering, so do not select it if you want only a sample. If the displayed size or price does not switch to a sample, stop before purchasing and share the product link and what you see.
How do I order a wall mural sample?
- Open the mural's product page and select the material you want to test under Choose material.
- Below Preview & buy, find Start with a sample and select Order a Sample. The button shows the sample size and current price.
- Review Sample material in the expanded section. If it is wrong, select Change, choose the correct material, and reopen Order a Sample.
- Sample order comment (optional) is optional. Select Add [selected material] sample to cart, which also displays the price.
- Open your cart, confirm the design, sample size, material and quantity, then select Check out.
You do not need wall dimensions, artwork cropping or the Preview & buy customizer to order a sample. Those controls are for your full-size mural.
What size and price is a sample, and what if I cannot find it?
The sample controls currently show 20 inches wide by 9 inches high (50.8 × 22.86 cm) on the verified wallpaper and mural pages. Check your chosen product's displayed sample size, material, currency and current price before adding it. The verified US pages showed a $12 USD sample before discounts; use the current product display rather than assuming every product, currency or future price is identical. A per-square-foot or per-square-metre starting price is not the sample price.
On a phone, scroll down through the material and size controls to find the sample button. If you cannot find it, send the exact product link or a screenshot of the product controls without personal or payment details, so we can guide you for that page. A sample-order question can be answered with these steps; you do not need to browse unrelated designs or provide your email, phone number or wall measurements just to learn how to order.
To compare materials or designs, select and add each desired sample separately and check that each cart line has the intended design and material; increasing the quantity of one sample gives more of that same selection. Samples help assess colour and finish. Do not assume a sample shows the entire mural composition, a particular crop, or the final full-wall scale unless the product explicitly confirms it.
Should I use 35OFF on a sample or save it for my full wallpaper order?
We recommend using 25OFF for your sample order and saving your unused 35OFF code for your full wallpaper roll or wall mural order. 35OFF can be used only once per customer. If you redeem it on a sample order, you will not be able to use it again on your later full-size order. Saving the larger percentage discount for a larger planned order will generally give you a greater saving.
This is a recommendation, not a statement that samples are excluded from 35OFF. Under our current promotion, ordering a sample with 25OFF does not itself use up your one-time 35OFF code. You may save the unused 35OFF for your later full-size order while that offer remains active; do not assume it will remain available forever. If you already used 35OFF, use the ongoing 25OFF offer on a later order while it remains active. We cannot promise to reset a used code or adjust a completed order retroactively.
For a sample, select the material first and follow the sample-order steps above. In checkout, enter 25OFF in Discount code, select Apply, and verify the deduction before paying. If 35OFF is already applied to a sample-only order, remove it and apply 25OFF instead if you want to preserve the one-time code. Use one code per order; the two codes cannot be combined.
How is my mural price calculated?
Select a material and enter your width and height on the mural product page to see the calculated total for those selections. A starting price per square foot or square metre is not the full-wall price. The sample price is separate from the price of a full mural.
Review your material, dimensions, currency and total again in the cart before ordering. If the price or configuration differs between the product preview and your cart or checkout, contact us before completing the order so we can check it.
Where do you ship from, and how long does it take?
We ship from our New Jersey warehouse in the United States. Standard shipping is free. Please allow 3–5 business days for preparation, followed by an estimated 5–10 business days in transit. Transit time begins after dispatch; these are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. We email tracking information when your order ships. For full details, see our shipping policy.
How do I use my first-order 35% discount?
Use 35OFF for our one-time 35% welcome offer. If you are starting with a sample and plan a full-size order later, we recommend using 25OFF on the sample and saving your unused 35OFF for the full wallpaper roll or mural order. Add your chosen products to the cart, check the material, size and quantity, then select Check out. On the checkout page, find Discount code, enter 35OFF and select Apply. Confirm that the code and discount deduction appear in the order summary before paying.
The cart page may not have a discount field: continue to checkout to enter the code. If the field is hidden on your screen, select Add discount, or expand the Order summary when that option is shown. If you use an express checkout, review its order summary and discount area before confirming payment.
The code is limited to one use per customer, has no minimum purchase requirement and cannot be combined with other discount codes. In particular, 35OFF and 25OFF do not add together. When using 35OFF on your full-size order, remove another code if necessary and apply 35OFF on its own. Free standard shipping does not require a separate discount code.
If the code is not accepted, check that it is entered exactly as 35OFF with no extra spaces, that no conflicting code remains, and whether you have already used it. Share the exact error message or a screenshot without payment details if you need help. Do not complete payment expecting the discount to be added later; confirm it in your order summary first. We cannot promise a discount adjustment after an order has been placed.
Can I use 25OFF on every order?
Yes. Our current 25OFF promotion gives 25% off every order, including repeat orders, while the promotion is active. You can use it again even if you used 25OFF or your one-time 35OFF welcome code on an earlier order. There is no minimum purchase requirement and no one-use-per-customer limit for 25OFF.
At checkout, enter 25OFF in Discount code, select Apply, and check the deduction before paying. If you cannot see the field, select Add discount or expand the order summary when shown. This is a code-based offer: do not assume the displayed product price already includes the 25% discount.
Which code should I choose? For a sample-only order, we recommend 25OFF for 25% off so you can save your unused 35OFF for 35% off on your planned full wallpaper roll or mural order. Once 35OFF has been used, use 25OFF on subsequent orders while the promotion remains active. Use one code per order: 35OFF and 25OFF cannot be stacked and do not create a 60% discount or two successive discounts. Check the current offer and the final checkout total; ongoing does not mean the promotion is guaranteed forever.
Which material do you recommend for a ceiling?
For ceiling installations, our recommended material is Non-Woven Wallpaper because it is lightweight. It is an unpasted, paste-required material, not Peel & Stick. Select Non-Woven on the chosen product page when available and follow the material-specific installation instructions. The ceiling must be sound, clean, dry and suitably prepared. If the ceiling is also exposed to heavy humidity or steam, tell us about those conditions before ordering so we can review the competing installation requirements.
Which material do you recommend for high humidity or steam?
For areas exposed to high humidity or substantial water vapour, our recommended option is Unpasted Textured Wallpaper, listed as Textured Wallpaper on product pages. It requires wallpaper paste; it is not a self-adhesive material. Choose Textured for your selected design when available and follow its installation instructions.
This recommendation concerns humid or steamy room conditions. It is not a waterproofing guarantee or confirmation of suitability inside a shower, under direct water spray, over a leaking or persistently wet surface, or over mould. Tell us if the area receives direct water or if the wall remains damp, so the application can be reviewed before ordering. Use appropriate ventilation and a sound, dry, prepared surface.
Can I return or exchange my wallpaper order?
Our wallpaper and wall murals are made to order for your selected design, material and size. Returns and exchanges are not accepted for these made-to-order products. A change of mind, selecting the wrong size or material, or ordering excess panels does not qualify for a return or refund. Please check your selections and consider a sample before placing a full-size order. See our return and refund policy. This does not limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
What if I entered the wrong measurements, material or address after ordering?
Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and the correction you need. We must review the order's production and shipping status before confirming whether a change or cancellation is possible. A request is not a confirmation: do not assume the order has been changed, stopped, cancelled or refunded. Changes or cancellation cannot be guaranteed once production or dispatch has begun. What if my item arrived damaged, defective or different from my order?
Please contact us promptly with your order number, a description of the problem and clear photos of the item and packaging. Keep the packaging and avoid installing affected panels until the issue has been reviewed. These problems are reviewed separately from change-of-mind returns; the made-to-order policy is not a reason to dismiss a damage or wrong-item report. We will review the evidence and confirm the appropriate next steps. Do not assume an automatic refund or replacement, and do not send anything back without instructions. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.
